Second Stage of the Atyrau Oil Refinery Reconstruction

Work in the field of project logistics clearly demonstrates the scale of Terminal Logistics Services' operations.

Our company brilliantly carried out the transportation of unique pipe equipment for the second stage of the Atyrau Oil Refinery reconstruction from Ahmedabad (India) to Atyrau (Kazakhstan). The route passed through several countries, various modes of transport were used: from the Port of Mumbai the cargo was delivered by sea to Bandar Abbas (Iran), from where it was transported by road to the Port of Anzali (Iran), then — by sea to Aktau (Kazakhstan) and by road to the industrial site in Atyrau.

As part of the project, 22 units of equipment were delivered, including large elements up to
47 metres long and 6 metres in diameter. Given the oversized parameters and the length of the route, Terminal Logistics Services specialists conducted thorough preliminary preparation: engineering calculations, selection of optimal routes, coordination with road services and processing of special permits for the transportation of oversized cargo in India, Iran and Kazakhstan.

Protecting the customer's interests, in order to prevent losses, before dispatch our team arranged an expert survey and identification of the equipment at the manufacturing plant, insurance and control of all stages of loading and unloading operations. As the cargo progressed, continuous monitoring of its condition and compliance with safety requirements was carried out.

Despite the complexity of the route and the multi-stage coordination, the project was successfully implemented within the established timeframe. The equipment was delivered to the site without damage and in compliance with all technical standards, which confirmed the high level of organisation and competence of the Terminal Logistics Services team in the field of project logistics.
