Kaz Minerals Bozshakol Project

For an industrial enterprise in Kazakhstan, the Terminal Logistics Services team delivered oversized equipment along the route Neubeckum (Germany) – Port of Antwerp (Belgium) – Port of Paldiski (Estonia) – Ekibastuz (Kazakhstan).

The project involved the transportation of industrial rolls with a total weight of over 70 tonnes each. The logistics were built on a multimodal scheme combining road transport, ferry crossing and rail service. This format made it possible to achieve an optimal balance between delivery times and cargo movement safety.

Due to the absence of a crane with sufficient lifting capacity at the destination station, the cargo was removed from the platform using rigging methods. This solution made it possible to move the equipment without damage and in compliance with all technical standards.
Before the start of transportation, Terminal Logistics Services specialists conducted a route survey, obtained permits for the transportation of oversized cargo units and ensured the preparation of photo and video materials to monitor all stages. For transportation, 40-foot MAFI roll trailers were used, which reduced the risks of overloading and ensured stability during sea and rail transit.

Despite the complex logistics chain, the project was implemented in full compliance with the schedule. Thanks to the coordinated work of the Terminal Logistics Services team and its international partners, the equipment was delivered to the site within 22 days, which confirmed the reliability and professionalism of the company in managing multimodal transportation of heavy cargo.
